I am attempting to get answers. My pure breed Siamese Cat, Hunter was adopted by a Staff of a Veterinary Hospital from events that appear to be manipulated for me to relinquish ownership
On 02/26/14, A relief doctor, Joni O'Hair working at Hometown Animal Care in Pflugerville TX saw my pure breed Chocolate point Siamese cat Hunter for what was revealed to be gastric blockage. The total cost was quoted at $1000, when i met that cost she raised it by almost 300% in after-care cost. The main cost being the over night emergency care he would require after surgery. Over the phone and in only six minutes, she gave me the choice to either euthanize my little boy or relinquish owner of him to the Hospital
Again over the phone, with no documentation and under duress they had me relinquish him to them and then gave me a bill for $185 for the exam and x rays. The next day, they refused to let me say goodbye to him because I did not have permission from the new owner
Due to a Yelp review, a face to face meeting with hospital owner was arranged on 04/18/14. Dr. Sutton revealed the following information:
Angered I stated i wanted my cat back immediately and free of charge. I have since offer to pay him for service rendered in the amount of $1500, which he declined with silence. In an act of retaliation, Dr. Sutton released 2 public statements stating my full name, details of the medical records and alleging that i had abused and neglected Hunter.. there was a telephone call too between myself and the doctor, initiated from my smart phone;)
But having been provided with those public responses............
I have been given a valuable gift. Documented statements. This was no longer hearsay! These were statement that Dr. Sutton made himself and would have to stand by.
When his statements are compared to the medical records, it reveals that something happened that day.....something they are not being honest about.
Currently, this Hometown Animal Care is being investigated by the State of Texas Veterinary board (TBVME) and submission have been made to several other agencies for focused on consumer protection.
I have alleged the following allegation against the Texas Administrative Code

Due to a Yelp review, a face to face meeting with hospital owner was arranged on 04/18/14. Dr. Sutton revealed the following information:
- The new owner was a staff member named Amy
- Dr. O'Hair was a relief doctor; a stranger to me and my pets
- All the after care that I was unable to afford and was not allowed to decline; Hunter never received any of that care.
- Hunter WENT HOME WITH AMY instead of receiving the emergency care I was told he required.
- Many statements made my Dr. Sutton revealed a questionable and unprofessional attachment to my cat developed by Amy
- Dr. Sutton claims he was unaware of these events had occurred by his employees in his business.

- Dr. O'Hair did not sign anywhere on the chart...not once...even for the surgical notes.
- There is NO documented evidence that any attempt to stabilize Hunter was made.
- The blood work is missing from the chart.
- The new owner is identified almost immediately when i was told he would go for adoption after he got better
- In order to validate Hunter's post-op care for being taken to Amy's home instead of emergency care, Dr. Sutton falsely claims that Amy is a NURSE. In the State of Texas, there are requirements for claiming that title.
- Dr. Sutton makes statement that conflict with the medical records, take things out of context, exaggerates and in some case, simply lies.
- Dr. Sutton claims TWICE in two separate public statements that all the services, resources and money spent to save Hunter were donated by him and is an example the charitable nature of himself and his establishment. Yet in a statement documented by the Pflugerville police report in a statement given to a police officer, he lets it slip that he was paid for all the necessary medical care for Hunter.
